Management of fixed assets

One of the big challenges in large environments is the management of the fixed assets. Some companies have hundreds even thousands of fixed assets, which represent a major real value of the company.

  • which assets are existing?
  • where are the assets?
  • in which condition are the assets?
  • maintenance of the assets on a regular basis?

are just a few important questions which have to be answered by every company. The importance of these questions is related to the nature of the assets. On one side, they can be seen as tools, needed to perform the own business and create profit, on the other side, these assets are values of the company.
