Promotions - delivers a long expected and required functionality

The operator of small and medium chains of convenience stores or supermarkets could not afford the installation of TPEnterprise solutions like TPAdmin and TPAnalyse to create the reports of the results of promotions and sales campaigns.
With the introduction of 4.x, Wincor Nixdorf introduced the local store reporting facility, to produce an overview of promotional sales.
This gives the retailer an idea of success or failure of special sales activities. In addition a report about the manual discounts allows the control of the cashiers.


The Service Plus development process

Service Plus is following a simplified development process, defined by Siemens.

Basically there are four phases, which are:

  1. Requirement specification
  2. Requirement analysis
  3. Implementation
  4. Acceptance

Each phase ends with a well-defined milestone with a complete set of documents attached to it.
