Integration as the key for process automation

It is obvious that the retail IT environment is very complex; there are many business processes which need different technologies and solutions and have to interact with each other in order to create real business benefits. In this environment the integration is a crucial task for the success of the business. Typically the “big integration” is the focus of the project  – meaning the integration of extensive solutions like POS with ERP or other head office and store solutions. But addressing details in the store environment the integration of simple pieces of hardware automates processes and has big advantages for the retailer.
